Child Criminality and Suicide

Criminality could be defined as a developed tendency of self loathing caused by hurting others to survive and that may lead to seeing no future.

We have justice due to a self correcting mechanism that most of us possess. That thing that makes us feel wrong or bad when we do something that's going to harm someone else. We have laws to protect us from each other.

A lack of physical dignity may cause kids to fall into bahaviour that part of the self does not abide by, and thus detaches that part of the personality that makes it a wrong move to hurt another person. Some are trained by bullies or cruel siblings into accepting that hurting others is the ugly side of what is expected of them (to survive). Continue down that track for too long and a sense of self value can not form.

It is the truth, then that kids are led into modes of thinking that lead to suicide as the only solution. Most kids do not act merely on a passing thought. Suicide is the last event of a life. It thus becomes the most important issue and that may effect carefully laid plans.

The person taking their life may of course be smashed out of their skull on coke or tripping away like the flame of a candle. Or driving too fast. Or not. The actual result is the same.

Life is sacred enough to protect. If a young person is suicidal, it doesn't matter what the statisics say. Each person is a person but soon will not be at all if someone does not intervene, early enough, to prevent the beginings of such personal attack or negativity.

If you are accused of taking a life, it is possible a good defence lawyer will prevent the state from taking your own life away from you. From your hands.

People who commit violent crimes usually are not the unlucky victims as well. Suicide requires an act of violence, not always apparent, as in cases of ODs.

If you are out roaming the streets and someone attacks you, the law protects you by the same laws that protect the wealthy. Justice demands an objective view of all sides.

If something took hold of your will, surpassing it at every opportunity, or thottling it with calm fingers. It is time to act in your own interests. If life became so dark because of something you did, then you have to admit to your self that you are not always right. And if its too late to turn back before your final move, then God help you.

The concept of suicide as an exit to better things if the believer believes in a personally held idea about respective notions of an almighty is utter rubbish.

Except perhaps Euthenasia cults, and Death cults, there are very few world religions that actually celebrate suicide. For example, Islam forbids suicide, in fact the act guarantees hell. Christianity also sees suicide as a mortal sin. Sacrifice is one thing, but a descent into destroying lives (including the self) is madness and a perversion of faith. Life is sacred.

If someone you know is attempting suicide, do whatever you can to help them survive. If they do not, not only is it not your fault, but you may still require a good defence lawyer.
